The Governor’s Statewide Independent Living Council (AZSILC), Arizona’s five Centers for Independent Living and The Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration, Department of Economic Security/Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Services (AZRSA) will be conducting a statewide Public Hearing via video conference, regarding the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) for 2017 – 2019. The public hearing will be held from 2:00pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. The purpose of this forum is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the proposed State Plan for Independent Living. Representatives from the AZSILC, Centers for independent Living and AZRSA will be present to answer questions. The proposed State Plan can be found on the AZSILC website in PDF and text formats. To request a print copy of the SPIL, or a copy in an alternative format, you should send an e-mail to Lilia Zacchia or call the AZSILC office at (602) 262-2900.
