Apply to Serve on AZSILC

The Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council welcomes applications from individuals who wish to serve as members of the council.  All council members are appointed by the Governor and must live in Arizona. Council members are required to participate in quarterly meetings.

AZSILC works collaboratively to enhance and expand Independent Living programs and services in Arizona, but does not provide direct services. Council members must reflect the diversity of Arizona, and the majority must be people who have disabilities. As AZSILC seeks members who understand and embrace Independent Living philosophy from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

The preferred method of applying is by completing the online application on the Governor’s website. However, a paper application can be printed out, completed, and sent by US Mail or scanned and e-mailed using the information below:
