Apply to Serve on AZSILC

The Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council welcomes applications from individuals who wish to serve as members of the council. All council members are appointed by the Arizona Governor and must live in Arizona. Council members are expected to participate in quarterly meetings and to serve on AZSILC Committees which align best with their interests.

AZSILC works collaboratively to enhance and expand Independent Living programs and services in Arizona but does not provide direct services. Council composition must reflect the diversity of Arizona, and the majority of members must be people who have disabilities from varying backgrounds and lived experiences who understand and embrace Independent Living philosophy.
